Mini Fabrik was launched in 2014 by Maria Kjaer Jensen in the Swiss city of Fribourg, where she worked and lived with her partner and their two children. Maria has always liked to knit and sew, and after the birth of their first child in Copenhagen, she went into overdrive, producing cardigans, hats and scarves. Shortly afterwards, she settled on a Nordic-inspired concept for the business and launched their first collection.
The Mini Fabrik collections are created for the small ones and are exclusively hand-knitted in Switzerland, Denmark and Transylvania (Romania), making each piece unique. Mini Fabrik use only soft, natural and breathable materials, and the result is a range of trendy, comfortable clothes with a touch of Nordic nostalgia.
